Psalms 95

Praise to the Lord, and Warning against Unbelief.

1 O come, let us ^asing for joy to the Lord,
Let us shout joyfully to ^bthe rock of our salvation.
2 Let us ^ccome before His presence ^dwith ^{▼▼ Or a song of thanksgiving}thanksgiving,
Let us shout joyfully to Him ^fwith ^{▼▼ Or songs (with instrumental accompaniment)}psalms.
3 For the Lord is a ^hgreat God
And a great King ⁱabove all gods,
4 In whose hand are the ^jdepths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are His also.
5 ^{▼▼ Lit Who has the sea}The sea is His, for it was He ^lwho made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.

6 Come, let us ^mworship and bow down,
Let us ⁿkneel before the Lord our ^oMaker.
7 For He is our God,
And ^pwe are the people of His ^{▼▼ Lit pasturing
,} ^rpasture and the sheep of His hand.
^sToday, ^{▼▼ Or O that you would obey}if you would hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts, as at ^{▼▼ Or place of strife
,} ^vMeribah,
As in the day of ^{▼▼ Or temptation
,} ^xMassah in the wilderness,
9 “When your fathers ^ytested Me,
They tried Me, though they had seen My work.
10 “For ^zforty years I loathed that generation,
And said they are a people who err in their heart,
And they do not know My ways.
11 “Therefore I ^aaswore in My anger,
Truly they shall not enter into My ^abrest.”
